I must share our story with those who are reading it to truly understand how dedicated and professional Melinda is.
We have looked for our dream home for over 8 months, That is, until our path crossed with Melinda's. That wonderful day, Our phone conversation was all about Us explaining in detail on what kind of home we were hoping to find, How important the location is to us...the property size and being private along the Elizabeth river if possible. When I first called Robin I was a little hesitant. People always warn you about bad realtors just wanting to make some money and being shady. This wasn’t true for Robin. When I met her she had a colored streak in her hair and drove a tiny blue VW bug that had “listed” on her license plate. Her sense of humor but me at ease. Debbie was wonderful to work with! I originally listed my home in September and received several solid offers within a couple of days. However, due to unforeseen personal circumstances, I had to remove the listing and delay the sale of my home. Debbie was very understanding, patient and maintained the same level of concern and professionalism. Throughout the delay, she reached out often to see how things were going and to offer encouragement. The house re-listed on December 8 and in less than 24 hours several offers were made.
